Joke is on you. We already got animated flourish enmity.

I bet Dancer gets Flourish II effect and some kind of useless Presto enhancement.

Those are actually decent. 30% DT when 30/30.

I can see DNC getting something overall good, like TP consumption on waltzes -1% per upgrade, or a conserve tp chance on all dances. Maybe a general accuracy bonus too, mages got m.acc bonus category, can see dnc drg and run getting "Accuracy Bonus", and WAR and DRK getting "Attack Bonus". Would be good because at 119 most melee acc is homogenous due to gear/buffs but would be nice if drg and dnc got further acc to accent their jobs(though its slightly reflected in the amount of acc they get from gifts; 9 vs 4-6 for other melee).

I would like some pdt on geo gear. I couldnt believe they put pdt on every bard relic reforge piece and not any on geo's, who they expect to stand in aoe range for indi spell debuffs/melee buffs. but honestly I will prolly be happy with Geo Empy as long as it comes with a Blue hood and parka like old school Geos looked like.

rdm - temper II. 20-40% DA still self only. Similar to enspells proc rate determined by enhancing skill at time of swing, can only proc on first hit, when fully jpd starts out at same rate as Temper I gaining 1% per hit till at double of temper I. With 1 jp it's infinitely worse

increase Saboteur effect- increase duration/potency by 1% per jp to be additive with the normal saboteur/af3 gloves effect. Still gimped on nms

RUN should get temper. Lord knows they'll use it better than RDM, especially with Embolden.

idk sword got a lot in the 1hd update so a good rdm might be able to out DD run lol.... but 95% of the rdms that melee do so in full mage gear and can't hit shit. Also emboldening it seems kinda meh. 1.5 minute super temper every 10 minutes. I wonder how embolden spell duration works with enhance duration stuff like if a rdm cast a spell on the emboldened run...

For RUN DD? Sure. But who uses RUN DD anyway?
For RUN tanking atm I'm afraid, while beneficial of course, it wouldn't make such a huge difference.
RUN is already almost perma-locked by post JA and post spell delay because of the constant runes spamming, JAs spamming, spells spamming etc.
You don't really get a lot of time to actually swing your sword in most fights.

Most of the times when I get TP is mainly because of parries/battuta rather than real swings >.>'''

Not saying I wouldn't buy Temper for RUN of course, just that I doubt it would make a huge difference, it's not what RUN "needs" atm.

Why are you spamming runes? They last 5 minutes though realistically they will only last 3 due to lunge. And realistically the only other real ja usage you need to do are Pflug ever 5 minutes or so and val every 3 minutes or so. Battuta when it's up. As far as flash/foil if you don't need them to stay alive and you can actually hit them mob you should be able to keep hate just as well meleeing. In fact all the run tanks I've seen on any content they could get decent accuracy on spent a lot of there time meleeing just maintaining runes/vall and lunging when up and flashing to start/if hate lost

Well not all fights, but to swap between the runes you're using for Vallation, the runes you swap for Vivacious Pulse, the runes you swap for Pflug and eventually the runes you keep up the rest of the time.
That's kinda an extreme situation maybe, but on some mobs it's just like that and it's annoying.
Oh and let's not forget the runes you consume with Rayke, the Runes you consume with Gambit, the Runes you consume with Swipe and Lunge x_X
Each time you have to pull back all three (1 for Swipe)

Same goes for spells. You don't need to be permaspamming Foil, Flash, Phalanx etc, but especially when you're /BLU or /NIN with those utsusemi, or Coocoon, or Jettatura, or Blank Gaze... add a Refresh every now and then.
And so on, and so on, and so on.

I was hyperbolizing of course when I said that RUN doesn't get to melee, but truth be said the melee time is really reduced from all the huge spam of JAs and Spells you get against several targets =/

Well with the way you play sure.... but I'm not sure I'd advocate even half of that if you can actually hit the mob.

Like having 3 different sets of runes maintained seems well like overcomplicating things especially considering how much hate that will cost you. I mean unless there are 2 different element debuffs you have to resist and dmg of a 3rd element you really want to reduce.

And why are you even swapping runes for V pulse? The only reason I could see is to get mp but you said you don't need to spam spells which I agree on. Hell I can't even believe you merited Rayke. Pretty sure outside of helping others gambit is a dps loss at higher haste amounts. Swipe always should also be a loss if you can melee

I'll give you utsusemi when you are /nin but cocoon is once a minute. But assuming you can hit the mobs you're going to get more hate from meleeing than from any of those hate spells.

Now I'm sure some of what I said will be debated/exact situations differ and you'll notice I left some out because some spells/jas are more or less necessary but beyond that it becomes a choice. But the point remains that it's not you "can't" melee it's you decide not to melee over spamming some spell or increasing your resist rate a tad or trading a bunch of melee dmg for a little magic dmg. If you stick to the necessities to get the job done you can melee tons similarly to how pld/runs do or even melee rdms

Personally I don't do that usually because it's so annoying it's... beyond my threshold. It just makes the job not fun to play for me.
But several people do and, in theory, it's the most efficient way to do it.
Especially for stuff like Pflug, you kinda have to do it since quite often the "dangerous" debuff you want to minimize has a different element from your vallation runes.

Even without that, just having to consume and set up runes again for Lunge, Swipe, Rayke and Gambit is still quite a load of lost time with forced delays that aren't making you melee.

Hell I can't even believe you merited Rayke.
    Why not?
I mean, what would you merit in group 2, Sleigh of Words lol?
Battuta is 5/5, Inspiration caps my FC on all types of magic with 4/5 (in theory if I really wanted I could with 3 as well), I'm left with one spare point, why not spend it in Rayke?

Pretty sure outside of helping others gambit is a dps loss at higher haste amounts.
You make it sound like it's a bad thing :'D
It's more utility brought to your current party/alliance.
The thing about Swipe that you said is often true, unless you're fighting something particularly weak against magic or unless there's either Rayke or Gambit up

To get back to the initial topic now: I'd *love* RUN to get Temper or TemperII. I was just saying that I doubt it would create massive differences and that, imho, it's not what the job needs to be "fixed".

True but as said you could take out gambiting and swipe. Hell if Run had temper even Lunge might not be worth it. Though probably not since you can just do it a little before you had to refresh anyways

Hmmm ok didn't realize 44% gear fast cast. Fair enough. But fine outside of niche uses of maybe helping land a certain something do you really think it's worth all that ja delay of itself and 3 runes? Especially with no idea of how much it helps if any?

Not saying it's a bad thing just bringing up that unless it's helping others it wont be worth it and even then it depends on how much and most pts aren't going to be bringing a lot of magic dmg. Also outside of resists how is Rayke helping swipe? Even without resists and gambit I'm pretty sure swipe is a dps loss at decent haste/acc levels

I kinda consider that part of the original topic because while it wont make much of a difference the way you play it would make a huge difference if you chose not to spam so much. And indeed would encourage such play as otherwise you'd basically be wasting it and can push some of those barely worth it's to not worth it anymore. Could end up playing like a melee rdm minus the self cures and debuffs: keep the main buffs up and smash face most the time.
